“Rhodes & South Aegean International Jazz Festival” is truly global jazz festival at a stunning location at the Palace of the Knights inside the old castle of the beautiful island of Rhodes, aiming to expand to many other locations of the South Aegean region.
Sister festival with Bodrum Jazz Festival in Turkey under the common title “Jazz Across The Water”.
Co-organized by Jazz Democracy, South Aegean Prefecture, Rhodes Municipality ΔΟΠΑΡ with the participation of International writers and Translators center.
Under the auspices of Greek Ministries of Culture and Tourism.
“Jazz democracy, peace, creativity, originality, communication, dialogue between musicians and cultures” is the message from founder and artistic director Dimitri Vassilakis who since 2018 expanded the initial Rhodes Jazz Festival during the years 2015/2016 that he was the artistic director and co organizer.
